I am thinking about getting a tummy tuck. I checked prices online and it said 4000 to 7000 dollars is about right. I got a consultation from a plastic surgeon in my area in Florida and she quoted me 7400 dollars. I am thinking that maybe that quote is a bit much. Anyone know if that would be a fair price? Thanks

By the way Phoenix, I am thin already and workout 4 times a week, including sit ups. I still have loose skin and at my age, 52, all the diet and exercise in the world wont get rid of the tummy.

i'm a surgical intern.
a plastic surgeon i know charges $10,000 but his work is impectable. watching him perform an operation is like a master piece. i have never seen wounds heal like that before. just perfect.

no your price range is not too bad, but think about it first. if you're going to spend 4-7,000 why not go for 10,000 afterall, it is your body and it is a scar you are going to have until you die. think carefully.

best of luck~

Hi!

A typical cost for a tummy tuck surgery can range from $3000 to $6000, depending on the experience of the surgeon and the complexity of the procedures. If you are combining tummy tuck with our surgical procedures, the cost will be much higher than the above.

it is a good idea when going to get cosmetic surgery to get a number of different opinions. Don't go for the cheapest but don't go for the most expensive either. By the way, the clinic nearest me charges 8,598.64 USD, which is the equivalent of 6,500euros (I live in Ireland).

Save thousands of dollars by going to the gym instead. You'll get your body in good physical condition and you'll look better as as result.

You should probably get a second or even third opinion.
