I am two weeks late and I took a pregnancty test bu it was negative. I haev soem of the symptoms such as nasuea, sore breasts, and of course the missed period. I have gained a bit of weight recently and have been on some medication (acetazolamide) also i was diagonsed with clamidia a few years ago and although I have taken the medicine and cleared it up, i heard that it can cause tubal pregnancies. So I was wondering if anyoen knew why I could have missed my period or if there was soemthing that could effect the home test such as yeast infections, urinary tract infections or any medications?
Thanks for you help in advance!

go to the doctor's office. always trust the doctor. a lot of times home pregnancies are not completely accurate. or true the home test 2 more times. at least 1 of the 2 should be positive. good luck

Well, sometimes hpt can give you a false negative. You could be pregnant, but as far as the medication and clamidia issues, that needs to be discussed with your doctor. It's very important that you go get checked out and tested at the doctor's office. Otherwise something else could be wrong and you wouldn't know it. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you!

Sounds like you could be pregnant. Please don't wait to go to the doctor, even though the test was neg. Sometimes it can be wrong. You are on medication and it could affect the baby!
