They do not have to justify their pay, as with anyone they will try and get as much for their work as they can. I am sure that they give a proportion to good causes as most people do. However how much do you give, I assume that because you are so concerned about how much others give, you
yourself must give everything spare that you have. Never going out or having any luxuries at all.
Easy to criticise people without knowing the facts.

Totally agree with you on that one!! But at the end of the day - money makes the world go round! It is not a nice fact, but a fact nevertheless. My husband is a big football fan, and I often comment on the same thing, but his argument is that you can not be a professional footballer at high level for more that 10 to 15 years, so they should be able to make their money! Rubbish to that!!

I understand what you mean. I am losing my Grandmother to Cancer right now. There is nothing they can do anymore. But some footballers and many celebrities give money to charity. Not all wealthy people are tight with their money. They don't exactly earn it, i will give you that, but all i shall say is that some do give money to charities and many other improvement programmes.

Its not up to the football players or any celebrity for that matter to give any of their money to charity just like no-one has to, how dare anyone tell someone they get too much money and they should give it to charity, Im sure they do give to charity, david beckham has his own charity and im sure alot of the other players give to charitys but if they dont thats their business, yes adverts are heart breaking thats the whole purpose of them they play on your heart strings in the hope to play on your purse strings
I give to 5 different charties every month but thats because I choose to not because someone else tells me to, its no-one elses business what money I earn and what money I give to charity just like its none of your business what they earn and what they give to charity
Lots of celebrities do charity work and are the spokesperson for their chosen charities so stop slating them and admire them for the work they do

Most of the over paid footballers do give a lot to charity and it is not their fault that they are paid a fortune to play.
