Let's see:
1. The primary symbol is an instrument used to torture a man to death.
2. There's the idea that God hated everyone so much that He'd only be appeased by having his own son killed -- infanticide.
3. And the primary ritual is to mimic cannibalism.
4. Finally, there's an end of the world prediction filled with yet more natural disasters, war, death and disease.

Gee, now there's a recipe for a healthy mind! No wonder so much hate and violence comes from it. People think it's permissible to do what their gods do. What a sick, twisted and insulting conception of a Supreme Being.

If you put it into persepctive, then it isnt what you think it is.

1. The cross only tortured 1 man for 1 day and it was HIS choice to do it. Afterwards though, the cross dispenses grace for anybody who wants it for all time! So was the cross more bad or good?

2. God didnt so hate the world, he so loved the world that he gave his own begotten son. It is his hate for SIN that drives him to seek justice and sacrifice. And how can it be infanticide if Jesus was A. not an infant B. brought back to life ? Also Jesus died in his human form, his deity cannot be killed.

3. The Bible does not teach to eat human flesh I dont know where you got that from. Actually back in the law if you touched anything dead then you were ceremonially unclean.

4. Yes, those are all curses in response to OUR SINS. So mankind holds no responsibility for their actions? I can come kill your family and youre just going to blame God and not me?

The problem is you dont know the first thing about what the Bible teaches and are trying to judge it and God based on your feelings. Is it wise to try to judge that which can condemn you to hell?

All the four things that you mentioned presented God as someone to be afraid of instead of loved. I know it was the cross you are reffering to as the symbol. Was it Abraham and Isaac incident or Jesus death you are reffering to as "infanticide"? and was it the flesh and blood of Jesus your idea of cannibalism. Finally the end of the world.
Well, to start with, those are not of the true God but the God invented by the Christians. You are right it was twisted. The teachings of real God is calculated as 9 on the scale of perfect works. 9 is the only number that if you twist becomes 6. In the Book of Ezekiel, three times it was told by God through Ezekiel that the deceiver will be twisted or be turn back to its original number. God's original number is 999 which was made as 666.

God didn't have His son killed as a baby. When sin came into the world, the close relationship that God had had with Adam and Eve was no longer possible. From then on, anytime someone sinned, the only way to make it right or atone for that sin was by sacrificing an unblemished lamb. When Jesus died on the cross, He took all of the world's sins upon Himself. Not only did He die for the sins of the past, but of the present and the future too. He was able to do this only because He was perfect and without sin. He didn't stay dead either. He rose from the dead on the third day after He was buried. His death demolished the barrier that had been formed between God and man after Adam and Eve's sin. It was no longer necessary to sacrifice animals to atone for one's sins.

First of all, all of your points mad are wrong. Let me disprove them(mind u i am a Catholic teen):

1. the cross, which i assume you are referring to, is to remind us that Jesus gave his own life to save ours. Yes gruesome, but in order for all humanity to go to heaven, He needed to die on the cross.

2. God did not kill his own son u retard. Was God in control of the Romans? Or was he in the crowd of Jews yelling "Kill Him!"? No he wasn't. Mankind killed Jesus, not God. The reason he sent Jesus down to Earth was to save all us from eternal death.

3. OK...way out of proportion..The bread and wine turns into the body and blood of Jesus, this is true. But its not so we can eat him, its, if standing from an atheists point of view, accepting Jesus (who is God) into our bodies.

4. So what? How will the world end? With butterflies and faeries? No. Evil will cause man to destroy each other, not God.

If anything, Christianity makes the evil of the Devil seem real, more so than any other religion. You have a false notion of what happened during the Biblical times and have completely disregarded many factors

I will end by asking you these questions:
1.If there was no religion, people would be moire violent then any religious book could describe.

That is an interesting interpretation of what you have heard, and it is too bad that you don't know about all the Christians who are living in other countries, and helping communities build wells, farms, schools, white and black, asian, and hispanics, all ethnic backgrounds, working together to save children from abusive situations like prostitution, or camel racing, or working in factories. These are the unspoken, gentle yet strong people whose lives are not filled with hatred, instead, they love others as God loves them, and they represent to others the True relationship God wants with us.
I hope you get a chance to visit Christian Childrens Fund and read and maybe even donate your time or money to help some kids have a better life! Thanks!

did you miss the entire concept of eternal peace and life? - did you miss the concept of that God sent His Son because He LOVED the world -
you are talking about a Holy God who longed to fellowship with an unholy people - to do so He needed a blood sacrifice, something to which He can cover our sins that we may boldy enter the presence of God. -- HE GAVE US THE WAY, all we have to do is walk it.

so you think Christianity is a "religion" filled with hate - interesting, because we aren't the ones who are beheading people if they dont believe in our God.

1. The cross symbolizes God's love for us even though we have rebelled against our Creator.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

2. Jesus planned on making this sacrifice for us before we even came into existence.

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

3. The "primary ritual" is to remember how much Jesus loved us and has nothing to do with eating actual flesh and blood.

1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."

Apparently you do not know God and Jesus as your Savior.

Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.

Now is the time to get your mind off of hate and to learn about the love of God.

1 John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

The Cross is a symbol of our redemption through the shed blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

1Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

God loved us so much that He did give us His Son to atone for our sins.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Some things like the Atonement can't be understood because the finite mind of man isn't capable of thinking as God thinks and reasoning as He reasons. It'd be like a 2 year old trying to understand physics.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

We celebrate the Eucharist in memory of Christ's atoning death because He commanded us to do so.

Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

And finally, it's not God who's going to cause the disasters, war, death, and disease. . .it's the evil and rebellious nature of the human race that will bring down these disasters upon themselves, just as the people of Noah's day did.

Gen 6:1-13 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Mat 24:38-39 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The only thing sick, twisted, and insulting is your hatred of Christians, our faith, and our God. You've asked variations on this "question" (i.e., rant) before, and you refuse to listen to the truth when it's shown to you.

If you were obedient to God and saved by the Blood of Christ, you'd understand these things. But you're blinded by Satan, the god of this world, and so you're incapable of understanding God's ways.

What a sad interpretation. With thinking like that, I can see why you see hate in so many things that are anything but hate. I'll say a prayer for you.
