Little pups eat fast because when in the litter they had to compete for food. He will slow down once he realizes hes the only one there now. Do not try to slow him down he will do it all by himself. If you havent already make an appointment for a new puppy visit at your vets soon. Then you can ask your vet all the questions you want to.
The diarreah could be from the new home and new food and a change in water. If it doesnt slow down by morning get the pup to the vets to check for worms.

This puppy is much to young to have been taken away from his mother. But, so be it. Now, check with the person/place where you got the puppy and find out what food they were using. Give him only a little at a time. Make sure that you take him to the vet for his check up. Be sure that the puppy has plenty of water so that he doesn't get dehydrated. Hope he is okay.

Get your puppy checked by the Vet ASAP. It could be a lot of things, but a common thing it could be is Giardia and/or worms.

Giardia can be tough to get rid of and often needs more than one round of treatment. I have three rescues that I got as puppies, and two of them had Giardia.

Ask your Vet about adding a few spoonfuls of pumpkin pie filling to your dogs food while his stomach is upset. You can also add Pedialyte to his water to prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.

That can be cause of different food that he has been eating and also the water..You should have gotten what the puppy has been eating and mixed what you want to feed the puppy together and gradually change to the food you want to feed him.. The water the same thing..dilute it with your water. Anything different from what the dog has been drinking or eating can cause this to happen. If this keeps up you need to have him check out at your vets.

yeah i know...you just bought yourself a puppy...if you have been to the vet and they can rule out worms, then its just an adjustment to the new environment...i got a siberian husky 4 weeks ago, and its still going soft...so much so that the vet has him on anti-diaheral medicine.

the eating, totally normal. only a problem if its throwing it up cause he eats so fast...good luck with it all...

try getting a bowl that makes you eat the food slow because it has the humps in the bowl like 3 but most dogs and puppies eat there food fast and maybe try having him eat when you eat to so he is not always starving puppies and it is common to have diarreah alot to when a puppy is young

HAVE YOU CHANGED THE PUPPIES FOOD THIS WILL UPSET HIS STOMACH AND WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO WORK IT SELF OUT. ANOTHER PROBLEM SHOULD BE WORMS EVEN IF THE PUPPY HAS BEEN WORMED OR EVEN CHECKED FOR WORMS AND THERE WASN'T ANY HE MAY NEED TO BE CHECKED AGAIN SOMETIMES THEY DON'T SHOW UP

Let a vet check him out, but in the meantime, give him chop meat and rice... the rice will bind him up some.

He probably has intestinal parasites but it could the beginning of parvo. I would get your pup into the vet as soon as possible
