So my friends and i are graduating this year and are looking for a place to go for alittle vacation. any tips on how and where to find great deals (is last minute really that much better?) - where is a good palce for mid may? - i was thinking cancun only becuase it is a safe bet for a good time but my friends are not too comfortable with going there ... any tips or suggestions etc.. would be awesome adn greatly appreciated. ( btw i tried expedia and its not that great) - and oh yeah 800- is the budget :)

You may get a better deal on a resort or hotel the closer you get to summer but flights definitely go up the closer you get. I have always felt pretty safe in Cozumel. Its an island near Cancun. My teenage girls were with us last time.
