I have recently been looking into the cost of daycare for our oldest child (4 years) and a new baby (due in September). I would like to know how much other people in the Midwest (especially Eastern KS) are paying for their daycare for similar ages. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Lets see! I live in New Jersey and my daughter goes to a middle cost daycare full time and it cost $675. The cost for an infant full time is about $800" soooo approximately $1475. But if they go to the same scool, it is usually like a 10% discount so about $1327 for the two

In Southern California it costs $1200 a month for a Home Daycare ($300 a week...so $150 for each child). But if you wanna send them to a good daycare center (especially a religous one).....it costs more like $400-$500 a week (which is $200 to $250 for each child a week....so that would be $1600 - $2000 a month at a good daycare center.

Here in MN, I would probably pay $200 for the 4 year old and $250 for the infant. My 5 year old is now in Kindergarten and therefore it's been a while since I've had to pay, but these are the ballpark figures for this area.

two of my children attend daycare at our YMCA (in indiana). my four year old is $90/week and my 1 yr old is $93/week, i think the rate may be different for infants though. there are cheaper places too. most daycares in my area run about $15 per day. you can check with your local family and social services about daycare assistance, even if you dont want assistance, they should be able to get you in contact with someone to get you a list of local daycares and prices. we got a list, then picked a few and personally interviewed each provider and we chose the YMCA. my four year old goes swimming, does gymnastics, nature walks, and a ton of other activities that are great!! Good Luck!

I pay $18.50 an afternoon and my son is going 3 days a week ($fifty 5.50). i think of fee has plenty to do inclusive of your region; it would not appear like too plenty to me. I do experience your soreness with cost in spite of if this is merely the beginning up of an prolonged bypass of expenses from here on out. There are merely 2 daycares in my city and this one is the desirable of the two. I had to sign up my son final November and we had to attend till mid-January to get in. the different daycare replaced into the comparable way. the former day replaced into my son's first day. such as you I got here in and my son replaced into sitting in his swing. he's not one for buying overly excited yet i'm fairly specific he replaced into chuffed to be going homestead. Congratulations on your infant and sturdy success with daycare.
