going on someone elses computer is ok in certain situations,
If you were just going to check your email for a few minutes thatn thats fine with me, and most people as long as you ask permission.
If you thought that the other person was hiding something and you went through there music, documents, or history than thats wrong even, if you did ask the persons permission to be on the computer.
I am NOT saying that you were doing this, but there are better ways to find out if your Boy friend is cheating on you or not.
If he is on a dating site than that probably means that he no longer likes you and he might have found someone else on the internet and that may be why he wants to break up, or he could have been liking someone else for sometime and than your decision might have just made him think that you werent the one.
I am assuming that a "personals site" is a dating website
Please email me if this helped, I really want to know!

Ya know - if he's having that much of a fit over something so insignificant I would really look hard at your relationship and what you could be headed into long term.
Sounds to me like your boyfriend needs to get a grip and choose his battles wisely.
He wants to break up over that - well, I am guessing that he's got stuff to hide and frankly, if that is the case you don't need a man like that - secrets should not be a part of any good relationship.

Need more details?...he wants to break up BECAUSE you went on his computer?...that's stupid..i mean he can be mad for u not trusting him but you have the right to know what is going on in his life and he has no right to be mad if you were right about your intuition that he was on a personal's sight...appologize if necessary...good luck!

Obviously he is hiding something if he wants to break up over you going on his pc. If he's on a personals website then maybe it's best you move on because obviously he isn't being 100% faithful to you if he's looking at and talking to other single women.

well was he on them or not? Its kinda sneaky to just go on his computer and do that. It is his personal space and property. Its no wonder he wants to break up with you. Theres a lack of trust in this relationship. Trust is key for any relationship to work.
Good luck

You proved that you don't trust him, so yes he is going to be upset. Just really talk to him and assure him that the next time that you feel insecure that you will discuss it with him. Let him know that you are sorry and feel bad about invading his privacy - good luck! If he loves you then he will forgive!

Fixit by being yourself. If anyone hides their lives, then they are not ready to share their lives.
It also means they flunked kindergarten, which taught to share as the first principle.

You had to respect his privacy. If he wanted to tell you something, there was a time and place for it. He feels totally violated, even if there wasn't anythng to hide. Talk to him, tell him you knew you were wrong and ask him to forgive you.
