Take charge is bad. That means that she will ask him out first, make too many decisions in the relationship early on, and be a man.

Assertiveness is good. That means paying for a small thing on a big date like the cab ride and stuff.

If a girl asks a guy out, she never gave him a chance to overcome the natural fear of rejection. Because of this, nothing could ever really make him value her than his pride. Think about it. If he never got the courage to approach, he didn't think she was worth it.

Hope I helped,
Franklin

Depends on what they are taking charge of. While some men like the take charge type female, you need to remember that it might be okay with the man, but never start to try to wear the pants, this would probably be when he puts a stop to it.

It can be good personality trait. Hell it is even really sexy sometimes. However too much of it is a turn-off. I dated a woman who was very take-charge, it was very sexy at first but once it wears off and the person doesn't really bring it down a few notches it is a huge turn-off.

Too much of a take-charge attitude is bad, so it the opposite where someone is too passive.
