psh good luck. My hair is wavy and doesn't scrunch. My sister uses an Aussie scrunching product. Pantene Pro V makes a mouse just for scrunching. But her hair is naturally curly and these work for her. When you do try, use a clarifying shampoo and do not put a bunch of conditioner in your hair because that weighs it down. You are lucky to have straight hair...but if you must I suggest putting your hair in hot rollers instead, I really think that will look a lot better.

i have that same problem. i got this really nice curling iron set for xmas and i cant even use it. what works best for me is after i shower i use those dime store curlers, (the ones that little girls use) wrap a small chunk of hair in each tightly and then dry them all with your hair dryer. do it before you go to bed and leave the curlers in over night. then in the morning spray a little styling spray to them so they last. don't spray so much that they are rock hard just enough so that they are sorta crispy feeling

If you Really want it curly, I'd suggest getting a perm. My hair was just like yours and I got it done last summer and it's still pretty curly. I was scared at first that it will damage my hair, but I kept using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner regularly so it's still all good. I liked the change in style but it's your choice.

you could take a shower at night and scrunch it with mousse, gel, and hairspray. i use a gel thats especially for curling. sleep on it like that and it'll be curly. or you can also do a braid. that will make your hair curly too. good luck! =]

Have ever tried hot rollers? If you do ever have time to use a curling iron: Do you spritz each strand of hair with hair spray, or something of the sort, before you use the iron on it?

Well, I my hair is already curly. I straighten it. But, I find that sleeping with a braid and then undoing the braid the next day makes your hair sorta curly.
Hope this helped.

my hair is straight too. well i used hebal essence shampoo for curly hair and scrunched it and braided it till it (air) dries. if that doesnt work you could try rollers you sleep in. or an iron in the morning
