The Christians I know are generally very nice, indeed. It might be because I live in northern New England; proselytizing or gross displays of religion are considered rude, unseemly and more than a little suspicious up here. People generally keep to themselves and faith is a private matter. Granted, lately there have been a few more door-to-door Jesus salesmen, but they aren't having too much luck.

I think it's like any other group -- some people are nice and some aren't. For the most part, Christians are caring people who want to serve God by helping others.

Generally christians are nice people, but being a christian doesn't make you perfect. They have the same faults as everyone else.

Totally. However, I would say that humans are generally nice people and Christians are nice by default of being human, not because they are christian. Christianity, heck, religion in general is NOT a prerequisite for good morals.

True believers of any faith are nice people. I am a christian and know many nice giving caring people of the same faith.I am treated with contempt by people of other faiths when I use there stores ,restaurants, shops etc.I assume they are nice people also but wonder why they mistrust me when I am patronizing there businesses and being polite to them.

Sometimes, but it is more important to be loving than nice. And sometimes love seems like it hurts at the time, but in the long run it is better than just being nice.

Yes, I would say the true ones are. If you really believe in God, you would know that if you insult someone, you insult God. God is the ultimate Creator. Let me give you an example to clairfy what I am trying to say:
A young girl, Zelda, walks up to someone she really doesn't care for. This girl, Malthace, is making a picture for her mother. Zelda laughs in the girl's face. "What is that?" She asks to Malthace. Malthace, looking crushed, answers in a wavering voice. "I picture for my mommy." She looked up at Zelda, slightly annoyed. "It's my picture. Why are you instuting it?" Zelda laughed. "Because it stinks, that's why!" She went away laughing.
Do you kinda get my drift? If you insult a creation that someone put their heart and soul into, then you are insulting them. This really has nothing to do with your topic. But it needs to be said.

Yes, once you eliminate the people who call themselves Christian for the purpose of feeling self-important.
