I don't expect perfection in grammar or spelling. But some of the things that get posted on Answers look like the village idiot wrote it. That or the person was three sheets to the wind when they wrote it. If someone asks me a question I expect at least some effort to form the question. It would be common courtesy.

This, for example, is posted in the "languages" category. Just look around the category at how many people ask for help with English. It's so EVERYONE can understand you, including the 50-60 year olds that come on here.

although based on questions and answers, this site is not for dummies. participation on YA is a quest for knowledge; effort is required. while typos are accepted by all but the language nazis, and even pop-culture ebonics are tolerated, basic grammar is a must. i've read questions no one can understand.
as for who the heck cares? it should be obvious, many of us care. and you should as well. proper grammar could be the difference between working a fryer basket and a decent job.

Well, first of all, grammar is important because then people can understand what you're saying. If you have terrible spelling, one might hardly make out your point and give you a wrong answer!

lol just give them a low rating if they are being mean .They dont have to answer.Who cares if its just a few words .Every oter word it would be annoying but I woudnt answer the question if it bothered me that bad.
