ringworm is actually a fungus and yes it is contagious. Most of the time you can cover it with blue star ointment and a bandage and get rid of it but it will take 2-4 weeks If you get ringworm on your scalp go to the doctor because a prescription medicine will be required.

Yes it's contagious via touch.

yes it is a contagious fungus.... you can spread it or get it.. it is treatable with antifungal creams such as you would use for athletes foot/jock itch etc....

yes it is , my son wrestled,and one of the team mate had it and he could'nt wrestle.
