Ok that whole dating of pregnancy thing is kind of confusing. If you are pregnant you should miss your period on the 20th. To date your pregnancy the doctor goes by the first day of your last period. If that was Feb. 20th you would be 3 weeks pregnant right now. The reason for this is because the first 2 weeks you are considered pregnant you really are not pregnant yet. They just date it this way.

Doc go by E.D.D., estimated date of delivery, which is calculated by the first day of your last period. You would'nt know you where late unless you knew your last period. Gestational age is the actual age of the fetus, which can only be determined by an ultrasound. You won't even know your pregnant til the 20th. and if you are , you will be considered 4 weeks preganant and are preganant for approx. 40 weeks, 40 long weeks.

they count from the first day of your last period. so actually they count 2 weeks before you are actually pregnant. if you got pregnant 2 weeks ago, you are four because of your period

pregnancy is dated from the first day of the last period, not from the day you conceived. that is where the extra 2 wks is from. no one knows when they conceived, but they might know their last period

if you believe your pregnant you should go to your doctor and get check. they would do a pregnancy test and if its confirm, they will do an ultrasound (through vagina) and they'll measure your baby, thats how they'll know how far youll be. you cant really tell until your doctor confirm it. goodluck
