I want to know what you think the difference is...

A friend and I have been arguing about it for some time now, and I just want some more thoughts on it.

Thank you.

The pentagram is an inscribed pentacle.

The pentacle is the star itself, the pentagram is when you place the pentacle in another shape, most often a circle, less often a pentagon, sometimes even other shapes.

Their the same...
Though sometimes people say "Pentagram" when referring to the star alone, and "Pentacle" to the one enclosed by a circle.
But in lacking having a dictionary handy, and not on highspeed net, Im saying... "their the same thing"
