Juice is suppose to be better for you to drink if it is natural and does not contain high fructose corn syrup which is sugar. If you are talking about whether to mix in alcoholic drinks, that would depend on the alcohol you use. Most things like light rum, vodka and gin are better with juice while whisky and bourbon and dark rum are better with pop.
Whatever you do, don't drink and drive.

Juice every time - diluted with water as their sugar is too high for a diabetic to drink much of it. Fruit juice is one of the treatments recommended to treat a hypoglycaemic attack - but I prefer glucose, it is quicker!
Pommegranate and mixtures are my faves!

You would be better off with bottled water or a glass of milk especially at this time of day. Juice tends to be made from concentrates and will actually dehydrate you and and fizzy drinks are full of nasties.
Sorry to be a party pooper!
