Just ask him to hang out as friends. It might turn into something more after there is some type of friendship that is established. The reason why I say ask him to hang out and not go out on a date is, it takes some of the pressure off both of you.

These sound like bad situations. I wouldn't go after the 1st guy. He likes your best friend, as you just said. He's not going to change his mind about that. If he was into you, he wouldn't be into your best friend.

As for the other guy, long distance relationships are VERY hard to succeed, even as adults. The only ones I've seen work are the ones with years of marrage under their belt first.

I suggest you keep your eyes pealed for a 3rd option.

okay the same exact thing has happened to me and some people think that your too desperate when you asked guys out but what i did was i had a friend not your best friend though like somebody you just barely hangs out with tell him that you like him then after a week or more ask him out so that you give him time to think about what he has heard and you dont want to wait to long or someone else might take him

Well it sounds like we have a itsy bitsy problem.

Like I told another girl don't worry about it.

The right guy will come to you when he actually figures out that he is missing someone that is in need of a boyfriend i guess.

Men are easy creatures, trust me, i am 1 :-)

You like each other, ask him to go for a drink with you, simple as that.

I love it when a woman makes the 1st move, it's a sign she is confident, which bodes well if antics take a turn to the bedroom :-)

u dont ask the guy out. he should ask u. its traditional. that what i think. its ok for a girl to ask a guy out but i like it the other way. so if u want to ask this guy out just pick a moment when ur not surrounded by crowds and ask him. and dont be hurt or never talk to him if he says no to u. im sure he wont tho. :)
