I never remember what I really would like to remember, and everything I want to forget stays in my brain forever. Why is that?

I really wanna remember what Schopenhauer, Kant and Nietzsche said, but everytime I have to search for that in books.

And at the same time if I hear something about the Olsen twins or Paris Hilton, I seem to have brain cells that do nothing else the whole day long than remember who they are, and present me with that information when I don't even want to.

Why did God curse me with the wrong brain cells?

Maybe the next time you hear anything about They Who Shall Not Be Named, you should mentally chant, "god is dead, god is dead, god is dead...." (Not exactly what Nietzsche said, but close enough.)

Or: "The will to live takes precedence over reason." (Schopenhauer, paraphrased)

Or: "Free will is inherently unknowable." (Kant, paraphrased)

Train your brain. You have stinking - thinking. When the girls come in from Hollywood immediately think of your research or what you should be studying and get into a book immediately. Also guard your eyes and your brain wouldn't think so much.

I don't know, but I have a similar problem: my brain cells don't remember what Voltaire (the philosopher) said, but have no trouble remembering the lyrics of Voltaire (the band).

actually, genetics gave you bad brain cells. God supplies the soul for the body, not the body for the soul.

and memory can be changed FYI. work on it.

Everyone got what he deserved. Do not blame God or others for your sinful acts. Give thank to God what you have now, you could be brainless.

alot of reasons why bad things happen, is god is trying to test you to see if you still have faith in him. dont worry, if you keep your faith up, youll be up in heaven, and you wont have to worry about anything. good luck. god bless you =)
