Will it subside or is it the wrong medication for me?

If I didn't do anything else, I would at least stop taking the medicine until symptoms stop. I agree that you should always start out at a very low dosage and work up.

Try cutting the pill in half. You should start out at 25mg for the first few days. Usually the doc gives you a starter kit.

You might be having what is called a "Serotonin Reaction" It is a very dangerous side effect of SSRI's and not normal. You need to seek some medical attention immediately. Please get off the computer and call 911.

It is a rare side effect of the drug. IMO, Zoloft is not a great drug and once you're on it, trying to kick it is really hard.
