More exercise...boosts your metabolism so you can eat more.

Here is something I have been doing. I eat a lot too, and depending on your reasons, maybe this idea will help.

Sometimes I get a craving for something, even if I'm not hungry. And of course, most people prepare and eat even when they don't need to, just because they have the craving or maybe because in that moment they feel like cooking. Or because they are bored.

What I started doing to bust those kinds of impulses is...when I get a craving, feel like enjoying that taste, I write it down if I'm not hungry...in my head I'm thinking..."that will be the next thing I eat."

Then when I get hungry, I go down my list, and if something still sounds good, I make that and eat it.

Small portions are needed. But looking at it psychologically, I think we can put a stop to overeating by using this method, why?

Because when you write things down, you don't forget. I am a very creative person and a very improvisational cook but sometimes I just cannot look in my cabinets and see anything good. So when I do have a great idea, I don't want to waste it. Often I have made and eaten things just because I didn't want to forget the IDEA. By writing them down, I can browse my cupboards all day long out of boredom or whatever, getting ideas, and then prepare them when I am ready to actually eat.

You are also acknowledging the want but also disciplining yourself to wait until it is also at least partially a need...nutrition aside, you do want to wait to eat until you are satisfying hunger, or until it is TIME to eat. Even so, since cravings are at least some indication of what the body is missing, if you revisit the list and find something on it that is appetizing in that moment, then you can usually get some nutrients that you needed.

Eat 5 to 6 times a day. Also eat healthy foods. when you eat 5-6 small portioned meals your metabolism gets faster and that will burn more fat.

Yes. Exercise some kind of will power for Christ's sake, and put down the double bacon cheesburger.
