OK 8th grade level. I have to lift my expectations a little.

This is for you to work it out your self. In the future, you won't have people lurking around to help you so you have to learn how to do it yourself. Thats what I'll show you here.

There are certain steps you take to solve personal problems with other people. While it doesn't always solve the problem, but it does help you re-define the question and narrow the possible answers to your problem. Lets start.

#1. What does an 8-grader boy know, not guessing, about you or what you want? This is important, because if he is interested, he will get around to thinking about you and the things you like. So one thing that helps you here is that he will pay attention when other people talk about you, for good or bad news. That should be your first clue. Now, that didn't cost you anything.

#2. Most of the "Dating Game" is double loaded with rejection. Since our society expects the boy to ask the girl, She is rejected if he doesn't ask and he gets rejected if he asks the wrong girl. You'd think that there would be a better idea on how to do this, and there is, but the Government frowns on arrainged marriages at 9-years old. Those are the barriers preventing a boy from just walking up to a girl. So women solved that problem a different way, eaves-dropping. If done skillfully, the girl will rely on two of her friends to talk loud enough for him to hear, but not obviously directed at him. That way he finds out that she likes him. Boys do the same thing but the girls have it down to an art. Plus, you can always deny you said that if it looks bad for you.

#3. Rehersal. Plan early what you will say to any of his different approaches. What will you do if he stutters, discovers he's picked his nose in front of you and dies of shame, or worse, passes gas. Hey, some people do that when they get nervous. Its easy to know when they have a good poker hand. Anyhow, your job is to make it as easy for him as you can. You should never be surprised by anything he does or says. If tou are, you didn't study him well enough in step #1.

My final word of advice. Even though this works on any age, I want you to understand. At the 8th grade level, you still have 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade to go.

5 years to get your butt ready for the real world. I know it is nice to be liked. I know it's nice to be the center of attraction. I also know it's nice to get into a college on a scholarship, saves you money for neat things, meet more guys that drool about you.

But, you only go around this merry-go-round ONCE. Older people have been there before and may not pick up on the urgency you feel at the moment. They are so wrapped up in protecting you that they don't really listen to the questions you thought you were asking.

Sometimes you need to really talk to them in their own language. Don't shut your parents out of your life. They want to help, only they don't know how or understand the pressures on you. So, it's up to you to explain it all, maybe 3 or 4 times, and be patient with the big dummies.

I'm one of those big dummies that want you to have fun and survive High school intact. You can do it.

1. Staring (passionately, not like just staring cause then he might think you're weird)
2. Trying to be near you as much as possible
3. Sometimes avoiding eye contact with you so it isn't obvious that they like you
4. Being different when talking to their friends around you
5.Doing stuff that makes him look sensitive or deep (like donating a lot to fundraisers...)
6.If you end up talking to him- he tries to extend the conversation by going in deeper to it just so he can keep talking to you
Yeah, I can't think of much more right now. But, that's basically what I know.

He'll always want to be around you and talk to you.
He will do the most outrageous things just to make you laugh.
In some odd instances, he may stalk you.
He'll find some way to just be around you.
Like teenagers, flirting is a sign.
