OK again.. THIS WORKS>. as recommended by my dermatologist.... go to the pharmacy... buy "PURPOSE" bar of soap.. made by johnson & johnson.. blue box.. only the bar not the gel/luqid.... Also if needed ask for "nutraderm" THE orginal...not the new stuff... lotion.. use if needed for moisture... pick up a low strength benzoperoxide cream... dab the cream on the pimples... DONT RUB IN! DONT over do it.. DONT put anywhere else other than on the pimple itself...this works using an oxidation-reduction reaction so dont rub in.. also if put on other areas of face.. will dry out skin and make you look worse... this does work.. quickly.. wash your face with the bar 3'xs a day.. use lotion as needed.. treat pimples.. with the benzo cream.. good luck... PS: i also used proactive which ... my derm.. said was very bad.. only 2nd to that horrid apricot crap...---PS i just read the other responses.. don't do something stupid.. like scrub and irritate your skin worse.. with any thing harsh... like acids...found in lemons.. etc.. sugar scrub is nice stuff for exfoliation but also not good for sensative face.. works nicely on other parts of body.. but any harsh scrubbing of your face will make you look BAD... this is a real treatment i have discribed and does dry out pimples quickly 1 day...you will be fine... ;-)

Get "PURPOSE"(Johnson and Johnson) facial wash....it is very gentle(as water) I prefer the liquid wash other then the soap...it made my face feel too dry and tight skinned yuck!! And the lotion is great also. I tried Proactive.....and that was a mistake!! I use a gentle Buff puff with the Purpose face wash!! I love it, I love it! I have been using it for about 5yrs now. Good luck!!!

Okay, get a small amount of baking soda in your hand, add a little water and gently (GENTLY) slough off dead skin from your face. You skin will be glowing and for a refreshing toner use witch hazel all over your face with a cotton ball. Both of these items are cheap too! Congratuations on your wedding and stop stressing out... its causing more breakouts.

raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
you can get it at the health food store, or in some super marktet health food sections. i use bragg vinegar..
good luck
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."
you can also steam clean your face, heat 1 qt water, add 3 tbpsns acv, drape towel over the pan and your head, let it steam your face, then dab acv with a cotton ball to remove loosened dirt, repeat 2 more times, steaming, then cleaning. then take chilled acv and water, dab it on to tone and close pores..do this weekly..
if you mix it with apple juice, instead of water, to drink, it tastes like apple cider..

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

Try using aloe after you wash your face. It comes in bottles at the supermarket or drugstore and it works great for me

i had the same problem with proactive. take a fresh lemon and use a q-tip to dab on your blemishes before bed. by morning you will notice great reduction in size and redness.
