All dogs, just like you, have deciduous(baby) teeth that fall out and are replaced with adult teeth. You probably should have read up on puppies !!!!!!!

Puppies and kittens, just like children, lose their deciduous (baby) teeth before their permanent teeth erupt. By six months of age, most dogs and cats have their full complement of adult teeth and any tooth loss after about one year of age is certainly cause for concern.
Most deciduous teeth in pets are very thin and fragile, so often owners do not find these teeth after they fall out, but only notice their loss when they look inside their pet’s mouth. Any deciduous teeth remaining in place after eruption of the permanent teeth should be removed by your veterinarian.
Dogs have 28 deciduous teeth (temporary) and 42 permanent teeth. Deciduous or "milk" teeth begin to appear when a puppy is about four weeks of age, and are lost gradually between 14 and 30 weeks of age. During this time, puppies may eat slightly less and chew more. Hard rubber or rawhide toys made especially for dogs are a good investment to help prevent household damage during this time.
Common signs of dental problems in dogs include:
Loss of appetite
Red, swollen and bleeding gums
Drooling
Blood in the saliva
Yellow-brown tartar at the gum line
Broken teeth
Foul breath
From personal experience, I have found ice-cubes to work really well with dogs who are teething.

All puppies will start to lose their baby teeth at about 14-16 weeks old, they will continue to lose the baby teeth until all the adult teeth come in around 6 months.
Just because you didn't notice your other dogs teeth fall out, does not mean it didn't happen. Most owners never find the baby teeth once they have fallen out.

Yes actully it is normal. You lost your teeth when you were little right? Well your dog does the same thing. Maybe the reason you didn't know your dogs before didn't loose there teeth is A. you dont remeber. Or B. They lost there teeth and you didn't relize it.

The puppy is teething. He is losing his baby teeth, and his permanent teeth will come in. Just like it happens with us when were young and we lose our baby teeth, and get our permanent teeth in. Don't worry, it's normal.

all dogs loose their baby teeth, so its no big deal to find one, or find some small traces of blood from a dog having lost one...most of the time the dog swallows them so we never notice, but they do...
