In Napa Valley, they're almost all good. Just stay away from Uva Trattoria, Sushi Mambo, and especially The French Laundry. Thomas Keller is just....a not nice man if you get my drift.

Hmmm this is a big state. May want to narrow to a particular area? Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego?

SF you have Masa, Fleur de Lys etc...but also depends on cuisine you prefer.
