Well 1st of all, you may be to young..........usually you have to be 18 so you may want to call the track. Here, in the 'High School' racing class, the drivers have a waiver signed by there legal gaurdian/parent to race.

As far as everything else, You'll need a helmet for 13.99 and faster. If it's a convertible, you'll need a helmet no matter how fast you go.
The basic stuff is this, ALL lug nut's must be there. Battery bolted down. Coolant overflow jug intact. Dual return springs on the carb. (If it's a newer F.I. car then the stock return spring is ok.) NO fluid leaks.
Aftermarket seat belts and rollbars dont come into play into your faster than 11.99 and it may be 11.49 now.

Don't tell the tech. guy what you think it may run or he'll look closer at it. Tell him you "think" it runs 14.00..........

It really depends on the track. Div 7 has a few different rules but most are the same. Some tracks out east, don't even tech for regular events and some get down and dirty. Your best bet would be to call the track or go out and watch tech inspections before you go. I would plan on getting a helmet with the proper certification and go ahead and put a set of belts in it. Im not exacty sure on it but saftey wise, I believe belts and helmets are about the only thing you need to worry about until you get down to the mid 11's
