We are not killing near enough of the enemy. We are far too nice to the enemy. They should be very afraid to even show themselves and they are not. There is no real fear of the USA. We are not tough / brutal enough because of the media tattles tales. Kick out the reporters and lets get this thing done with. This is taking longer than WW II for gosh sakes!

The war in Iraq is an act of ignorance supported by lies and a large part of the American public that speaks out in total ignorance.
1) the war was never an attack on terrorism. Even Bush never claimed it was when the invasion was on.
2) the war was never intended to unseat Saddam
3) the war was never a response to 9/11
4) the war was supposed to be a search for WMD (weapons of mass destruction. and this was concocted out of Bush lies.
5) the UN had people in Iraq searching for WMD.
6) the American "freedom movement" in Iraq has caused thousands of Iraqi deaths. Much more the have been attributed to Saddam however bad he was.
7) the American dead were never fighting for the preservation of the way of life in America. How stupid and paranoid can you be?
8) you may as well pull your troops out now. You have caused a civil war in Iraq and it will go on whether you are there or not.
9) you owe the Iraqis one hell of a lot and had best pay up when the civil war has ended.

I think that this war in Iraq is a mistake because our president is spending over 1 BILLION dollars each WEEK for the weapons and other materials for the troops. Also if he still wants to send troops there aren't gonna be any more then our USA will then be left with 2 options run away from the war or start a draft. SO that's why this war is a mistake in my point of view.

The war in Iraq is a scam from the beginning.
It started with lies, such as those pesky WMDs.
Now it continuing with lies, such as trying to conflate it with something called a "war on terror", as if terror is a physical enemy rather than an emotion.
Unfortunately, as H. L. Mencken observed, nobody ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of the American people. What most people care about is "American Idol."
The American civilian population is not involved in this war. It is just the pet project of the people who make money from it.
In his "1984", George Orwell describes the way Big Brother controls the population by keeping them endlessly involved in unlimited wars. They are told that it is their patriotic duty to support these wars even if they have no idea why.
Maybe I will begin to take Bush's war seriously when we see videos showing his own daughters in uniform on the way to go fight in what he calls a "noble cause". They can "stay the course" in Iraq until forever, and forget that their Daddy already told us "mission accomplished" years ago.

WOW...I've read many of these responses and not one person comments that.." 9/11 was an obvious 'false flag' operation, in which their own government commits an act of 'terrorism' on their own land to get the masses behind a war.. through fear of an outside enemy!!!!!"
The WTCs were brought down by explosives!!..planted well before Sept. 11th...
Iraq had no 'weapons of mass destruction'...The Bush Administration LIED to the world....IT' S BEEN PROVEN!!!
Iraq is just another stepping stone neccessary for Bush's malicious agenda...
Unfortunately many good soldiers are dying each day to make HIS dream a reality...
IT' S GOTTA STOP!!!

I think our troops should come home too because some people miss their family since if there the only child they are forced to join the military I also think that's wrong but in other words it's right because know one wants to go off to war so that's the only way to get troops.

the war in Iraq...a stupid war..why?
1) fighting against terrorism
the terror is still there..car bombings..suicide bombers..small militants clash..osama not captured yet..something wrong with the 'advanced inteligence network'?
2) for freedom & democracy
civilians death is still counting..people say that the figure 600,000 deaths is impossible..but with 50-100 people died each day since the invasion..and this figure is only concentrated in Baghdad..not all over Iraq..
3) to promote peace
this war has made most of arabs hate the US..creating violence all over the world..creating more terrorist groups..creating more wars..
keep on supporting this war you people..and let Iraq burned to ashes..you can have your victory.who is your next target? Iran? Syria? all middle east country excpt Israel? fight them..you love war right..most powerful military and government in the world..don't you people have any shame?

I could go into it. But here is the short of the long of it in my opinion.
If I had a Time Machine, I think we all can agree, we would not have invaded.
However, now that we are there. I believe it is a Noble act on our part in a REALLY screwed up situation. We just need to STOP using our troops as political pawns and let them fight this war to win.
If we do not. We will be sorry.

Right principle : to topple a bad dictator Saddam and his thugs! ..and give his people a chance for a better life in that country, a noble thing.
Problem is AFTER the fast invasion.., the occupation was done the wrong way!: too few troops from the beginning in 2003, and no plans for the proper way to do the occupation of the country the right way, and later the stabilization of the country after the invasion was over.
and that is what the general public perceives as the war been wrong...problem is war was right to be done, they just screwed up the Occupation and how they did it!!
to topple dictators and give people a chance for freedom in this sad world is ALWAYS the right thing to do!
