It's the classic situation of he was a good man but I screwed it up with my insecurities. I wasn't ready for the relationship and broke it off prematurely instead of being smart enough to work it out. Yeah I'm one of those women who ruins it for the ones earnestly seeking a good man.
Since then I have changed and realized I made a huge mistake. If he's open to listen I would like to apologize. I need to know once and for all should I let him come to me or should I go to him?

to be honest, in any relationship there should always be compromise. if you are messee (one who mess's up) then by obligation you should ask for or initiate the conversation not so much as apologising but asking for the chance to apologise to that person. but a relationship should not be based on whoever did what and why. always remember if there's doubt then it's not real. be sure of yourself because no matter what anyone Say's or do you have the finally say about you. so if want to let him go then do so.but an apology still is required. i hope this helps you find what your looking for.

Go to him with the apology, not to get back together. Keep it at that; that way you are woman enough to apologize for what you've done in the past, the way you may have offended, but not desperate enough to use his feelings to get you back in. And you're not digressing ...

And no you're not ruining it for anyone a real man knows how to walk away from it and start over fresh with someone new. The boys are the ones that are still hurt and take it out on the next girl ...

Then just leave him alone for all the good women out there! If you have insecurities, go to counseling and deal with them, then when you are ready to be a woman, if he is still available, good luck to the both of you and i hope you end up happy in life. just dont put too much energy on the negative stuff and always look at the positive side of eveything. Be Happy.

You should call him and tell him how you really felt at the moment of the break-up and maybe he can help you with your insecurities. Don't make the mistake in let him go (h might just be the one). Good Luck..

Go to him. Hes not going to be able to read your mind and know that you have finally realised you have made a mistake. Go to him and tell him, its the only way if you are sincere about what you are saying here.

you broke it off - honestly, what are the chances he'll come to you?

go to him - talk to him and try to find out how much he has changed in this time.... maybe he's got a gf now or something either way - get in contact and see what goes on from there

If you were in the wrong and knew you were in the wrong YOU should ALWAYS be the first to make the first move and make things right regardless of gender.

You should go to him. If you convey your feelings with half the conviction you do in your questions, he will listen to you. No guarantees, but you express yourself in an eloquent manner.

Go to him, he may never come to you. If you want him and haven't got him at the moment, what do you have to lose?

you should go to him..because he obviously doesn't know about what your feeling and how you've changed...if you're the one who wants to apologize then go to him
