I found my ex-boyfriend on the internet and we are still really close although we broke up- which is pretty rare. We may or may not get back together, but for now we are tight friends, when we met we did feel like we were each others soul mate, ( maybe that's why we haven't completly gone separate ways)
I think if you screen very well , you may find meaninful relationships on the net. It's no worse than the bar scene..
P.S. By the way he's a federal firefighter, too! ( love your hat)

I have found the man of my dreams on the internet!!
We emailed for 8 months before I actually met up with him, (after standing him up several times - nerves!!) and it was love at first sight! I already knew what he was like as a person, and thankfully he had been as honest as I had with the photos you put on your profile!!
Things are progressing very very nicely....... ;-)

Dont know about internet but met my husband cos he sent a text to the wrong number and we got texting, chatting on phone, eventually met up and the rest is history.

I would say absolutely not, but I can't.
I started chatting on the net 6 years ago, when it was all new to me!
The first night I went on I started talking to one particular person, who I talked to every night for a few months.
We finally met up. We are getting married in August!
He couldn't be more perfect for me. I have had a previous failed marriage and countless failed relationships, and it's only now that I realise they were all based on physical attraction. I wouldn't have looked twice at my fiance if I had met him face to face, but we realised we were soul mates before we even met. As soon as we actually met and fell in love, I was attracted to him. Now there's no-one else for me. Ah, bless.

well yes u could met somone on the net but how would u ever know if they were for real as they can be whatever they want online u just have to play it clever with them if this is the way u want to go i know people have met at a speed dating ect

Hopefully I have found her. Unfortunatley I live in the UK and she lives in America and it's gonna be a few months before I actually meet her. I just hope she is still available then.

I don't know.. there are many possible ways to meet people today I think it is possible.. i have met people who have found their true loves on the internet.. it is possible( including my grand parents) :-)

Well ive met this really nice girl on the net. Its amazing how lucky i was.
We met after 2years of chating, and it went just awesome. The bad thing is that i get to see her only during summer vacation :(
