Eyes are one of the first things I notice on a boy.... they have to be nice!
I have big dark brown eyes (which i get complimented on quite a bit), but i always thought brown as boring and common... what bout you?
saying that i loveeee huge chocolate brown eyes on boys, it makes me melt! and the electric blue eyes, and emerald green!

I'm a guy and I love eyes like you described, brown eyes that are so deep you want to fall into them and never come out, a bottomless pit of perfection. Brown eyes so rich you can imagine tasting the perfect piece of chocolate. Brown eyes so rejuvenating they're like a fresh cup of morning coffee. Brown eyes are the best color on a girl.

Sometimes it is not the color, but the shape that makes it stand out.
I mean, yeah ocean-blue or icy-blue eyes are nice, but shape can make a difference.
Girls look good with almond or cat shaped eyes and guys look cute with big eyes, like the big, brown puppy dog eyes.
Every eye color has its advantages though.

I always notice eyes first too. Personally I find guys with dark brown eyes very attractive. They're so exotic looking.

well i love a girl with green or blue eyes, but some girls have brown eyes that are more amazing than others. my eyes change between green, blue, and grey...kinda weird eh/

You asked about over proteive parenting...
I posted the effect it has on you unless you do something about it, and how it effects your future. Those who were best off that I have met had hippy open minded parents.
So please look at it again and slowly.
As said your eye colour needs to suit you.

i always went for blue/grey eyes like mine, and was shocked when i realised the man i had fallen in love with had brown ones, he was always behind a wheel so it took time to realise, i married my brown eyed guy, the eyes are gorgeous!
