I was walking to work and heard a cockatiels whistle. And I saw two crows on the ground infront of me – n I went UH OH. So I watched cuz I thought the cockatiel would have just been wild and wouldn’t have landed on the ground so I didn’t think I could do anything to help him. And then the two crows spotted him and flew straight for him, got him to the ground, so I ranned as fast as my little legs would carry me, into the yard of some work place (mind u while people were probably looking at me really strange going wtf is she doing). And tried to get him, but he flew into the window of the building. And then I got him n carried him to work.

He's eating now, and he's so friendly and cute. He has no tail feathers and really sad eyes.

Do you have any ideas of what i could call him? I think Crow is a good name?! What do you all think?

How awesome for both of you! You will likely have a bond for life because of that! All of my guys are rescues (not wild like yours, but rescues from really bad situations) and all of them have bonded right to me as they know I'm their saving grace and will never allow anything or anyone to hurt them again!

I think that Crow is a good name.

Good for you! Are you in Michigan? If you are, I might be able to dig up a cage for him. I do a lot of rescue work and always have supplies available to me.

How lucky he was that you came along! (Maybe Lucky is a good name).I think I would stay away from the name crow, since they wanted to have him for lunch. I would first take him to a vet just to check him out. Maybe you could call him Sunshine since thats what he will bring you. Cockatiels are so sweet.I wish you all the best with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
