I always tan really well on my upper body but can never quite get my legs to match. If I used a sunless tanning lotion for my legs and then laid out in the sun would my legs be able to get that natural tan through the sunless tanning lotion?

Yes. I actually use a self-tanning sunscreen. It's only SPF 8, so I alternate between the strong stuff and the self tanner. I have found that using a self tanner combined with some natural sun, gives me the most even, all over healthy looking tan.

Yes they should. Most sunless tanning lotions say to apply sunscreen because you can still get burned wearing the lotion. Thus you could assume the sun can still tan you with the lotion on.

Oh, and I have done it and it worked.

Yes, you can. Use the spf tanning lotion on your upper body and use the self tanner on your lower body. Good luck.
