I stand by General Peter Pace 100%. Being gay is immoral. Just because society thinks that it is ok...doesn't make it right.
Being gay is a sin against God

First, we are not losing. Things may not be going the way we want, but we are far from losing. Stop believing what you see on tv. its 90% crap.
DoD policy is to release homosexuals from service. The Chairman of the JCS has no say in making that policy. He must enforce it, however. His hands are tied. Besides, don't you think a four star general who chairs the joint chiefs of staff might have a little more information available to him than you do? There are many reasons why he might have let the interperters go in addition to the gay thing. Maybe he had replacements lined up and it didn't pan out. Maybe Britain offered to translate for us. Maybe maybe maybe. who knows? Don't condemn the guy until you have the same information he used to make his decision. Maybe the evil George Bush sent his evil minion Dick Cheney to threaten him with eternal servitude in hell if he didn't fire them. Or maybe Cheney offered to take him on a hunting trip......

Well, scum sucker, you and your ***** loving friends have never had to deal with this vermon living in your barracks, now have you ? It's no different than rednecks peeking through a hole in the wall of a women's bathroom . They are lecherous predators for the most part, who prey on young, inexperienced new soldiers and Marines away from home for the first time in their lives.
First, they befriend these youngsters to gain their confidence and friendship. Many times they will do it in a local gin mill, which makes the unsuspecting party even more vulnerable.
Many or their victims, once they have been violated, retaliate with anger and sometimes severe violence. What have you got then, one dead *****, and one unsustecting soul who will spend the next twenty years in Leavenworth, for 2nd degree murder or manslaughter. This has happened, more than once.
General Pace knows exactly what trouble homosexuals can bring to a military unit. They are not to be trusted ! They are true parasites, and there is no safe place for them to run and hide, once they are outed. Many a ***** has become shark bait, once their presence is known.
So, you punk @ss little shiit, before you shoot off your ***** lovin pie hole, learn the facts ! General Pace knows exactly what he's talking about and he's got the American people behind him. And for sure, he's got every heterosexual veteran who has ever served active duty, behind him, too !

1. We are not losing, in a counter insurgency you only lose when you quit.
2. Gen Pace may think that being gay is immoral and told a reporter that when he was asked about his personal opinion, but the military policy that discharges gay service members was put in place by former president Clinton.
3. The military does not set policy it merely enforces them.

While you have a point the most damning thing is that the pentagon and the joint chiefs seem to be totally incapable of telling Bush NO! This inability to set boundaries is the problem that has allowed us to get in this stupid mess in the 1st place and keeps us in Iraq to this day.

General Pace was known in the Pentagon as "the parrot on Rumsfelds Shoulder". As long as he is around the blithering idiot Rumsfeld will still be in charge.
