Social security only looks at your own income and resources after you are not married. Your adult daughter income will not affect your SSI benefits. Social Security has a itemized checklist that needs to be filled out, they want to know what you are paying in Rent, food, electricity , and any other bills, this form must be filled out before any changes are made to your SSI. You will need proof that your paying rent, such as a lease , or rental agreement. After you fill out the form , take it to social security , it takes 2 months for them to process the new information and for them to calculate a new benefit amount. If you have good credit , and no criminal history , you may be eligible for HUD housing , typically their is a waiting list , but sometimes it goes fast due to other people not eligible for a apartment. you have to first find HUD housing/rentals in your area and fill out a application. Section 8 housing is also a good choice but that can take years to get a voucher . Request that your Daughter be your payee , their might be a form to fill out for this too. if you know your living in a dangerous situation move out as soon as possible , do not wait until social security figures out your new payment , that will come in time , your safety is more important then anything else.

Migraines with medical documentation. If you are consistently under a doctors care and find it difficult to cope without some form of pain medication then you are probably a candidate for ssi. What you must have is medically documented proof.

I highly doubt it.

If you haven't already, you need to find out what triggers your migraines. It could be a bunch of things. Medication your on (especially birth control), certain foods you eat, stress. Once you figure that out, try and eliminate it from your life and your migraines will get better.

Your doctor can do a bunch of tests and prescribe you with special migraine medication as well.

A qualified doctor would have to determine whether or not your migraines would be severe enough for you to qualify for Disability through SSI.

no you won't get SSI my husband has crushed vertabraes in his back two knees tat are all messed up. Worked for the same place for 33 years and to get his medical from them he has to get SSI first they have denied him twice and now we are on our third go round with them, so considering that. And me being a migraine sufferer so my thoughts are with you but I know you won't get SSI for what they would just consider a headache
