The credit card companies will not tell you anyone's credit limit. Even if they did, their available credit is the number you would actually care about. If you submit the card and the charge is approved, they are below their limit. Do you need to know any more?

If you mean the credit limit on their credit cards, you do not have a right to know that unless you are a member of the credit bureaus. Then you can run a credit check and their credit report will show you the limits on each card.

If you are talking about how much credit you should extend, again you have to be a member of the credit bureaus. It is up to you to decide how much credit to extend after checking their credit situation. Another option in this situation is to make an arrangement with a local bank or credit union to do the financing for you. You have the customer fill out the application and the lender does the rest.
