Ask yourself this... Why do you want a boyfriend? When you're in 6th grade (at least this is how it was when I was in 6th grade a few years ago) all it means when 2 people are going out is that they sit together at luch and maybe hold hands. If that's all you want then do it anyway ou don't need to "go out with them" but if you want more then you shouldn't have a boyfriend. more than that is too much for a 12 year old. trust me i know, my bro is 12

Your only 12 years old. You still have lots of more knowledge and wisdom to come child. Your mom knows best otherwise she wouldn't tell you that you cant have a boyfriend. She is only telling you these things so you wont become 15 and pregnant or any age and pregnant for that fact. 12 years old is a very young age to have a boyfriend. THink about this: when I was 12 years old, I couldn't have a boyfriend either. I was 18 years old before my mom started to let me date.
So take it easy, your still young. ENJOY LIFE!

You don't need a boyfriend in 6th grade, trust me, it won't go anywhere.....I know you hate to hear that, but it's the truth. I would say wait until at least High School. There's nothing wrong with waiting. The reason for dating is to look for a potential mate/marriage partner, so don't rush yourself and think that you're not as good as the other girls because you don't have a boyfriend. Guys are stupid and immature until at least college, but some may mature in high school.

Baby girl men aint all they cracked up to be so don't rush into getting involved with them on a personal level. It ain't the end of the world not to have a boyfriend.I don't mean to side with your mom but what's wrong with waiting a little longer? I'm sure you'll still be drop dead gorgeous at 14 or 15.

I advise that you talk to your parents about it sometime and try to be polite and kind with it and do not, I repeat, do not get angry with them because they will not allow you if you do. Be considerate and show that you are responsible enough to have a boyfriend. Another thing you might want to consider is lessons in self-defense in case a date goes wrong so you could defend yourself. You should probably start with a date that you introduce to your parents during a school function and they might let you if they get to know him a little better. YOu might also want to choose your boyfriends wisely. Even though some guy may be really hot to you, make sure that he does nto have a record of being abusive by asking his former girlfriends and choose people that you know will not take advantage of you and will be kind. Try a double date for your first date to make sure that nothing goes wrong. Most of all, keep your morality in check. One reason you may not be allowed to date is because you are a little young. But, who knows, take my advice and they may let you.

She is not ruining your life if you cant have a boyfriend; if sh estill syas no; trust her about it its either that or learn the hard way....You'll have to prove to her you can get a boyfriend try this! ***get good grades, have after school activitiez, do ur chores (or bribe her...) u can always sneak behind her back- but then again thats not a good idea...cuz u'll get catch...and well she def. wont trust u....I hope the advice helpz

It seems like your mom is ruining your life.Let's test that out.First, lets say you did have a b/f.Whats the purpose of having one?Isnt it ultimately for marriage? It seems like now adays its mostly for sex.You want to know what sex outside of marriage does for most teenage girls? It leaves them with a baby and no daddy to help raise it.It leaves them emotionally scarred when the guy dumps them after "popping their cherry" to go find another cherry and cherries are lined up for them to pop.Do you know what its like to love a guy with all your heart, give your body to him get pregnant and after telling him youre pregnant , you get to hear those 3 magic words. No, it isnt "I love you", those 3 words are usually,"it aint mine" "cant be mine" wont be mine" ,"this isnt working","Lets break up".Not to mention the diseases hony, I dont know how many young girls between your age and 25 have diseases (std's).Your mom knows how strong the temptations are and she is protecting you. When you have a job, your own place and transportation and can support yourself with or without a b/f THEN thats the time for dating.Until then, do the best you can in school, get a degree in something and get a good paying job you enjoy doing.Dont worry, theres plenty of time for b/f's.GO MOM.
