Not really. If someone who was 5'2" weighed 140, that would probably be fat. Can't you look in the mirror and find out yourself?

Well, it really depends on your body shape. Technically, after 5 feet you should add 5 lbs for each inch you grow. However I am 5 3' and I weigh 107 lbs, so I don't know how acurate that is. The best bet for you would be to ask your doctor (that's what I reccomend doing). Listen to your doctor - they'll have good advice. Also, stay away from websites that tell you if your weight is "right for you or not." If you're comfterable, then your weight is fine. If your not, then no, it's not.

So much more goes into it than just height and weight. If you feel that you are overweight, go see your doctor. They will beable to give you a good answer, as they can measure your body fat.

According to the "one size fits all weight chart I should be 118-143....LOL...I am 5'6" and 175, but wear a size 10. Everytime I go to the Dr, I can see them checking out my weight on the chart as they walk in, ready to give me that "you need to loose weight speech" then see that I am not, in fact, over weight.

I will never understand why women want to be so skinny..it looks sick, weak, helpless and pathetic. Personally, I like being able to give the "evil eye" to someone and actually have something to back it up besides a bag of bones.

Good luck and take care.

Nope. That falls right in the average weight height guidlines.

Look in the mirror. If you like what you see, you are not over weight. If you do not like what you see, ask your best friend. If he/she says you are over weight, lose a few pounds. If he/she says you look fine, don't become anorexic. Learn to live with what you have.
