Comb through with hair conditioner, then use a tooth comb to comb the lice out. They can't grip the hair because the conditioner leaves it too slippery. try using tea tree oil on their hair, every week. It's supposed to keep the lice away. Nearly every kid gets head lice at some point, and contrary to what some people believe, they stay on CLEAN hair. NEVER use kerosene on a child..or anyone else for that matter. Good luck

most of the time the local health department will give you the stuff you need to get rid of them . Also i have a family member whos daughter kept getting them non-stop her doctor told her mom that they liked her type of blood and were drawn to her. the doctor gave her mom a prescription as far as i know it was one pill , the girl took them she has had no lice since then . so i dont know the name of the pill but any health care provider should have the name of it . good luck . also me and a friend got them and her mom done our hair and then poured white vinegar on our hair and we wrapped our hair up in a towel and cleaned the rest of the house bedding sofa etc. she said it kept the lice of the hair better than the stuff the shampoo left behind. good luck

My daughter had head lice many years ago when she was in grade school. I bought shamoo and other treatments at the drug store; then had to run a fine-tooth comb through her hair, til all the nits (eggs) were out. Also had to treat our furniture, bedding, her toys. It wasn't very pleasant. Your daughter has to be getting them somewhere if she keeps getting them back. She's either picking them up from someone or they are in your house.

you have to spray everything and I mean everything with lice spray(cars, furniture, rugs, toys) and wash everything like sheets, pillows, clothes in bleach and pray alot.
Our girls are battling with this sh-t too and you really have to stay on top of this.We also went to Wal-Mart and bought a electronic lice comb that kills them on contact when they comb thru they're hair & make them comb they're hair every night
