Most people start off a step on there heel, and kind of rock forward to finish off the step. By doing this, most of your weight is on the heel, which puts more pressure on the shoe, therefore causing it to wear out faster. I hope this helps!

Depends on how your walk which could just be your normal gait.
Different people wear shoes differently.
