The top of my head hurts too. Just the back half of it though. I either feel pressure or it feels like I'm being jabbed with needles.

This really depends on a lot of different things. How much sleep you've been getting, whether or not you wear glasses, how much water you drink, etc.

Try a few things. Get some more sleep, or if anything, take a Tylenol, sit down, and rest your eyes. Even if you can't sleep, close your eyes.
Also, like they said above, if you wear glasses, go to the eye doctor and get your eyes tested. Your prescription might have changed.
Drink more water, also. I used to have a few headaches a week, but I drink a cup of water at night before going to sleep and try to drink from water fountains throughout the day. I'm not sure how, but dehydration seems to effect how susceptible to headaches you are.

If none of this works, see your doctor right away. Tell him about everything, the headaches, the achy eyes, and anything else that develops. In the end, you usually need the advice, diagnosis, and prescription of a professional.

I would agree with the possibility of a migraine. I think you should see a MD as soon as you can. In the mean time you might try some liquid tears type eye drops. Dry eyes can cause pain also but it is not associated with headache or pressure.

Sounds to me like you have a migrane. Does light bother your eyes also? Put a warm wet but rung out rag over your eyes, shut all the lights off and turn off noises or turn then down. Take IBrpofin and drink caffeine. Believe it or not but caffeine takes away a migrane. If you continue to get these I would see a doctor they can put you on a medicine to keep them from coming so often.
Hope that helped

Ooh, that doesn't sound good...if you wear glasses, you may want to consider updating your prescription since an old version can induce headaches...It's also possible that you are having a migraine..think about arranging a doctor's appointment if this pain becomes more frequent during the rest of the week...feel better!!
