Right now, Canada is on Daylight Savings and UK is not.
Right now, UK is 2 1/2 hours ahead of Newfoundland, 3 hours ahead of the Maritimes, 4 hours ahead of Eastern Time (Montreal, TO), 5 hours ahead of Central Time (Winnipeg), 6 hours ahead of Alberta and Saskatchewan, 7 hours ahead of BC. Does Yukon have a different time zone? Not sure.

Depends what part of Canada you are referring to. There is a 5 1/2 hour time difference from coast to coast as we have 6 time zones.

I could be wrong but I believe it's about 8 hours, give or take. I once had a friend in Scotland and he was 8 hours ahead of me and in high school I had a friend who went to England over Christmas and I think she said it was 8 hours difference as well.
