There are schools for it in the States as well as Japan, and, unlike some people think, ninjas are actually still around, and many people still hire them for work like assassination and espionage. These organizations are kept fairly secret and only accept students they think are serious, but I can tell you that instead of karate, a better martial art to take (if you're truly hoping to be a ninja) would be something like judo or akido.

First find a school, either bujinkan, genbukan, jinenkan, or toshin do. Second, you must realize that ninjitsu / ninjutsu / shinobi ryu , is much different then it was 200 years ago. No espionage training etc... These schools teach mostly the hand to hand fighting arts , and weapons. Also much of the knowledge of the ninja has been lost over time. There are also more frauds then real schools of ninjitsu . Three that come to mind are Ashida Kim, Frank Dux, and Rick Tews.
Any school with relation to any of these three is fake. If you are serious about learning ninjutsu try finding one of the four schools I listed in the first line. Good luck, and don't stop practicing your karate.

You can study ninjitsu, but that's about as close as you legaly can. Being a ninja means you are a spy/thief/assassin. Really, the closest you can come these days is to sign up with the CIA or some such institution.

Hi Valerie!
I've never known anyone who actually became a Ninja, but that doesn't mean you can't. In fact, most people don't even think about becoming one because they think it's out of their reach. You obviously believe you can, so I say, GO FOR IT!
When you succeed, remember, I told you you could do it. :)

Time travel is the only way. There haven't been real ninjitsu in over 100 years.

You can't. It's a dead art beside that it's illegal to teach public how to do espionage, break into place, make explosive, assassin, etc...
