With a flat iron you usually get what you pay for. The best ones are ceramic between 1 - 1 1/2 inches. If you can get one that heats up to about 410-450 degrees and the price is under $100.00 then that's a excellent deal. This is the one I have and it works pretty good.

i head that Chis is the BEST, but it's expensive. If you don't want to pay the price for it, you can try Vidal Sasson Ceramic. That's what I have and it works wonderfully. It was only 10 dollars at Walgreens, too. It might sound cheap, but it really works. It also has 20 power levels.

Hope I Helped and Good Luck.

If you go to folica.com they give you a wide selection of straighteners, plus customer reviews. I got a sedu off that site and I love it, it straightens very well and makes your hair shiney and less frizzy(even during the summer)
