Hi I started to run to lose weight but the people I run with say I'm not breathing when I run. I was wondering what the term 'breathing' means as I don't hold my breath. Any advice is welcome

Deep breaths in, hold a little, deep breath out. Keep it at a constant pace, you want long deep breaths instead of little short ones like your gasping for air, this will keep your heart rate down which means you will be less fatigued and be able to run longer.

Breathe in through your nose to warm and filter the air. Let the breath start in your belly and work up to your throat. Try to find a rhythm that matches your steps.

I have the same problem! I used to play soccer and did just fine...now I almost pass out when I am running.

Sorry...just a comment...
