Let's say I have a bill of 140 due on march 20th and I pay the full amount on march 15. But then I use the card again on march 18. Will that recent purchase on the 18th have to be paid on the 20th also? Or will that be on the next statement?

I have a citi college credit card by the way.

No. It will be on the next cycle.

Each purchase only counts towards the NEXT statement and not the current due date for a statement that has already been issued/mailed. So if you got a statement today that said your minimum payment was $20, you could still go charge $500 and it wouldn't effect the $20 payment. It has to go through a billing cycle first.

Most credit cards have a closing date and a date due. If the purchase was make after the closing date it typically goes on the following months statement. You will need to check your statement to see when the closing date is.

Most likely, the new purchase will be on the following months statement as it was made so close to the due date.

The day the billing period ends is the day that the new billing period also begins. For ex if your billing period end on March 5th, then anything charged on March 5th will go towards the next billing period. The date your bill is due has nothing more to do with your billing period other then its about 2 weeks after it ends.
