Why not? Do you think that is too old? I have two friends who actually just got them about a month ago. One is 34 years old and the other is 25. It sucks, I know, but get it over with now before you get out of high school.

Yes, It is definitely alright to have braces at the age of 15 years old. Age is nothing but a number and if you can get your braces early the better it is for you. The reason I say this is that I know and have seen many people 20 years of age and older, who have braces and wished they could have had them younger. Sure you are still kind of late getting braces (most children get them at the age of 12-13), it is better to have straight teeth now, instead of waiting until later to get them. Having straight teeth makes you feel better about yourself and most people would rather have straighter teeth sooner, rather than later.

Of course! I have seen more than a few ADULTS with braces. remember when Tom Cruise had braces??
or Gwen Steffani?? they're wayyyyy past 15 and they pulled of braces, so you'll be able to do that easily. plus, the braces thing looks cute and attractive on teenage girls.
BEST OF LUCK!!! :-)
i am also in the process of getting braces. my first orthodontist appointment is this Friday. wish me luck! :-)
also, here are two awesome links. one shows you how the colors look on the braces and the other gives you very helpful information.

Of course its ok. Most people have braces around your age.
And anyway it doesnt matter what age you have braces so long as they do the job.

Of course it is. Just be confident. I have a friend aged 14 who had his whole mouth redone, he now has braces and they seem fine and are not causing him pain. In fact, I think them train track braces look great!

I had a girlfriend when I was around that age who had just gotten braces. She was so ashamed. Wouldn't smile, wouldn't laugh. Thought everbody was laughing at her. Nonsense. Laugh, be merry, go to parties. Just think that you are one of the lucky ones whose parents can afford braces and that when you're in college your teeth will bedazzle and attract the proper mate.

It is actually best to have them during your mid-teen years because your body is still growing.
If you wait until 18 or older they will not be capable of the same results because your mouth will be done growing.
Be blessed,
