My dog is sick every now and then, when she manages to eat something she should'nt without us knowing!, so I would think it was quite normal if it is a one off. Perhaps the warmer weather has caused him to feel like this particularly with drinking more water poor doggey. If it continues and you are feeling worried about him maybe you should pop him along to the vets just to be on the safe side.

Excessive drinking can be a sign of diabetes or kidney failure. To be on the safe side, I suggest taking your pooch in to see the vet soon. They will be able to determine what, if anything, is wrong with your dog. Until then, allow your dog to have full access to water all the time. Don't restrict his drinking - his body is telling him he needs the water.

Your dog was obviously feeling a bit ill. He drank the water to help him feel better but obviously he needed to vomit several hours later. Its brown because what ever he has eaten was probably brown. Water wouldnt have been enough to make it any other colour!
I hope he feels better soon.

There might be a slight health problem with your dog. Or, he could just be very dehydrated lately. Make sure you keep his water dish full at all times, and make sure its clean water. If you still experience these problems, I would go see a professional.
