i have very, very little confidence.. im shy and awkward. im in high school, when i talk to guys its normally just them making fun of me for being so quiet. im not skinny..not fat but closer to fat than skinny... i have frizzy curly hair but i straighten it sometimes.. how can i get guys to notice me

You have to get over being shy.....learn to like yourself and be confident.
Looks don't have alot to do with whether guys notice you or not, I'm sure you've noticed some girls that aren't so pretty with some really hot guys? It's their personality that attracts guys, not their looks.
I used to be very shy, thought it was the same things for a long time, then I got a job where I had no choice but to talk to people and I realized I was actually pretty hot!
Overcome your shy/confidence problem and you can show the world a whole new & different you.

Well it's hard for guys to notice a girl who is shy. Try to find things that you enjoy doing and do them. This way you will meet a guy who has some of your interests. Other than that, you need to have confidence in yourself. I've known many people who are more beautiful because they are confident. Remember beauty is more than skin deep and it sure as hell isn't what you see in magazines. Good luck

They already have...they have noticed you for your quietness.. Nothing wrong with being shy in fact alot of more mature guys like that quality in a girls. Dont worry your day in the spot light will come. I have noticed that the hot popular high school girls are first to marry and to turn into whales few yrs after high school. The skinny and little girls no one pays attention to turn into gorgeous women later in life. Like I said your day will come.

Everyone is attractive in their own way. You don't have to be beauty queen material to be considered attractive. Beauty is definitely an inside thing, outside is nothing but superficial, it's what is inside the person as an individual that makes up attractiveness. Would you rather be around someone physically attractive that is a jerk? Or be around someone less physically attractive and has a super personality and wonderful values? It does not matter what your body type is, or your hairstyle, as long as you are clean and polite and friendly to others, that's what makes up attractiveness. And if someone is telling you that outside beauty is what makes someone attractive - then I think they are just as shallow as the people they are seeking. Let them all have each other and you go about your way looking for the individuals that have more depth to their beings. :-)

Just be you if a guy cant except you for who you are then forget about him. You dont have to dress trashy to get a man to look at you always look nice have your hair straightened as you say put on some makeup if you wear it once you are confident w/ who you are then you will be more confident around guys and etc. I hope I helped.

confidence is important to have. find a school activity that you like to do and that you are good at and that will help you boost your self esteem. this will allow you to get the confidence to talk to others about real things and the things you do could be conversation starters. you need to be able to speak up and have a conversation with people, and then everyone will start to notice you.

stop putting yourself down. You are who ever you want to be. If you want to be a hottie, look around at the girls that you think are pretty. think about why you think they are pretty. nice clothes, nice hair, friendly. When you figure it out begin to do what they do. Save money to buy cool clothes, get your hair done. Basiclly do whatever you need to do to feel confedent about yourself and who you are. Just dont go around sleeping with everyone, that just makes you a slut. and in the end sluts get no respect just a lot of illegitamet children.

When you feel good about yourself, other people will see it, and they will be attracted to you. Try to be more outgoing, and smile! I'm in highschool too, and sometimes I have the same problems. This is easier said than done, but if you can actually do it, it can work wonders. Good luck!

Don't bother at the moment, get threw High School first, YES have fun but get your studies first, boys at that age just want marks on there head board to show off to there mates...
