In my previous question I stated that I have never sinned. Nor will I ever sin. Hell, I don't even like shelfish.

Why is it that every Christian constantly tells me that according to them I constantly sin?

Is it simply because if a person never sins, Jesus would become useless? Do Christians actually want people to sin?

They have this habit of saying that atheists are atheists because they don't want to be accountable for their conduct. Yet being a Christian starts you off with a sin "bye" that assumes you'll always be a sinner and that that's okay, because the Big Guy will let you off if you say sorry. Ted Haggard, for instance.

So no, atheists don't sin. They take responsibility. Sinning and repeat sinning, without accepting responsibility, is the presumption of the Christian.

In God's eyes WE ALL have sinned ( Romans 3:23) Look at His commandments and ask yourself if you have broken any- because we all have broken at least one---like have you ever lied? Of course you have--and if you say you haven't you would by lying. Stolen anything? Does not matter the value, even a pen from your moms purse is relevant.
In God's eyes we all fall short and need His forgiveness....and that is why He sent Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes in HIm will not perish but have eternal life in heaven ( john 3:16)
The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) the second death which is hell. Sin separates man from God, without redemption through Jesus Christ. You must believe and confess your sins to Him, and repent. God will give you a new heart, and a desire for Him- It is the power of the Holy Spirit when someone gets saved.
But please know, ALL of us have sinned, even I! But I am saved by the wonderful grace of God, praise be to him!

Markyy, we all sin... we sin not even knowing we sin some times. Therefore, you are not sinless!

Have you ever looked at a woman with lust in your heart?
Have you ever told a little 'lie'?
Have you ever taken a pen that was not yours?
Other words, have you ever taken anything that did not belong to you?

If the answer is yes.. then you have sinned. If you say you have never lusted for a woman/ then you might have lusted for a man.. either way.. that is sin.

It has nothing to do with TRUST!! But, everything to do with HONESTY!!!!

The Bible tells us that all people have sinned and fall short of God’s standard (Romans 3:23). We are not perfect creatures, but we should strive to be the way Jesus has shown us to be. If we truly love God, we will want to please Him.

“If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts” (1 John 1:8-10.

Are you an atheist Mark??? Then you would not believe in "sin" would you. So...have you ever done anything wrong? Or are you one of the few perfect people in the world.

All Christians are sinners and that is why they say it...but if you are not a Christian...you can say "I have done things that are wrong or made mistakes."

Sin is when your heart separates from God's will. But if you do not believe in God, you do not accept that you sin. So in that means you are not sinning in your own books.

The followers of God do not go to heaven because we do not sin, we would not make it without the mercy and grace of God. We go to heaven because we are forgiven. Jesus died for all of our sins, big and small. We need to accept that gift to go to heaven.

It's worse than that. Christians would insist that even if you, yourself, never sinned, you would be damned by Adam's original sin.

I think you are right about their need for Jesus to be useful. They backed into this whole weird theology because of the basic christian "oops" moment when Jesus got crucified instead of ascending to David's throne as foretold in the OT. They had to figure out a way for the death of Jesus to have meaning.

You do properly in trusting in Jesus, as he will in no way fail you. I pray that God will deliver you some good acquaintances which you will have confidence. in the call of Jesus. †Prayer Warrior At Your Request† As you seek for the Lord, he will show those to have confidence. No pal would be suited, yet he will deliver you some good ones.
