Cranberry Lemon Aide. Drink all day long; cold as lemonaide or hot like a herbal tea.

Make it by mixing 8 oz of non sweetened cranberry juice and 16 oz of lemon juice (fresh squeezed is best) into 64 oz of water.

Sweeten it with the sweetener of your choice. Agrave Nectar is the best. Agave Nectar tastes just like honey. Just substitute 1/4 cup Agave for every 1 cup of sugar.

It has a glycemic index of only 27 (The glycemic index measures how high your blood sugar rises when you eat certain foods. Corn Flakes, for example, have a glycemic index of 119; White bread=112, Rice=83, Honey=83, Apple=54, peas=32, and Agave only 27)

So, as far as your body is concerned, there is three times more sugar in rice than there is in Agave!

Agave Nectar is a natural caloric sweetener with the lowest glicemic index obtained from the Agave plant that can be used to sweeten any type of beverage or food. Agave Nectar comes from the Agave Plants. The plants are in the same family as the Blue Agave, from which tequila is made.

As an added bonus, this mixture will have a cleansing and detoxifying effect on your liver, which will jump start your metabolism and help you lose weight faster and/or maintain a healthy weight easier.

gatorade. when i had fish poisoning and went to the doctor he told me i will be losing a lot of potassium and other stuff, b/c my vomitting e.t.c. was depleting my body of nutrients. he told me to stock up on tons of gatorade (b/c it puts all that stuff back in), or else after my sickness was over i would be even sicker from losing all those essential stuff my body needs! i was astonished that gatorade was actually good, esp. from a medical point of view. but he also warned me that everything is about balance; if i drink so much i would have too much potassium, and too much of anything is not good and causes the body to act funny....but i tell you there is nothing healthier than water. you really need to get used to it. try puting lemon in it. or a friend of mine who is like you, when he has orange juice or any other juice, he puts half of water in it. even though i hate that you might like it. also you've probably heard about vitamin water. check out the food store to see "water alternatives"; water with a twist. and very important, exercise more, b/c when your heart feels like it's going to expolde and you're so hot, trust me you will devour that water.lol

Water is very important to drink. The body cells require it. Water helps rid the body of toxins. But too much water may do you no good. I sometimes flavor my water with whole mangosteen fruit juice. Normally, using anything to change water into something else is not good because it is then no longer just water and wont react the same way.

Add crystal light to your water. Try tea. Just stay away from those sugary juice and sodas. Diet soda is ok, but once in a while.
