Some people don't feel the need to be surrounded by "friends". Personally, I have many acquantances, but only 1 or 2 people I consider real friends. I prefer the company of my mate to that of other people. I most enjoy doing things with him and the children. I have been in relationships where there are too many "friends" and that can be a problem also.

It might seem a bit odd at first but what the person your are dating is like is more important. Friends a lot of times bring problems into a relationship anyways, as one or more of your friends is bound to not like your significant other.

Not only did I date such a person, I married him. But I'm kind of the same way - I like being alone, or being with the one "special" person. So, it works out for both of us!

I would depend on why he doesn't have friends. If he doesn't have friends because his old friends were jerks then I would be okay with that but if they didn't have friends because he is a jerk or didn't take the time to maintain the friendship, then no I wouldn't
